PHOTOS: Classic Suburban Dancers Compete In Conference Finals
Henry Sibley claims circuit championship in a tiebreaker over Simley; North St. Paul, Richfield and Tartan also take part in Thursday night meet at Hill-Murray.
It was a night to get a groove on as Hill-Murray hosted the Classic Suburban Conference championship meet on Thursday evening in Maplewood.
Twenty-four groups from the varsity, junior varsity and B-squad ranks represented their schools in the meet, including Henry Sibley, Simley, North St. Paul, Tartan and Richfield.
After two-plus hours of competition, Henry Sibley came away with the overall conference crown—earning the title in a tiebreaker by just three points after accounting for all Classic Suburban meets this season.
Henry Sibley also won the high kick championship, while overall conference runner-up Simley won the jazz title.
The meet was also scored on its own as the final conference competition of the year, with Henry Sibley winning the meet's jazz title and Simley placing second.
The two programs also finished 1-2 in the meet's high kick competition.
Henry Sibley also finished first in Thursday's JV jazz and high kick performances.
Placements were not announced outside of the top finishers.
