Patch does not disclose the names of victims or alleged victims of domestic abuse.
Inver Grove Heights police charged Anthony John Lash with two counts of felony domestic assault after the alleged victim was found "crying hysterically and yelling very loudly" at a residence in the 1400 block of Upper 55th Street.
According to a Dakota County criminal complaint, the woman told police she tried to get out of the vehicle multiple times but that Lash kept pulling her back inside.
The alleged victim told police she wanted to get out of the vehicle because she was scared for her life.
A search of Lash's criminal history revealed a prior domestic assault conviction from 2003 and a prior violation of order for protection conviction from 2008.
If convicted of the charges against him, Lash faces up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
