I received two tickets from our own Rep Joe Atkins in a drawing and attended with my husband. I have to say, I have never laughed so hard in all my life. Lizz Winstead was there and between her political jokes and her stories of life growing up, it was a BLAST!!! I appreciated the comfort of the building setting as well. All who attended seemed so friendly also, it was like being with friends I had had since forever even though it was my first time. I look forward to going back!! By the way, the drinks also are awesome. When I ordered a margarita, I was expecting a tiny glass...heck I got an 8 ounce tumbler at a very reasonable cost!!! Yes it was a special night for my husband and myself!

I LOVE the Joke Joint! I am so lucky to have a comedy club so close to my home! Wednesdays are open mic which includes FREE ADMISSION. yeah, sure, some of the acts on this night are pretty unpolished, but a lot of the local comics more than makes up for the newbies. I like their (limited) menu and the drinks aren't crazy expensive. Economical comedy is perfect for me!
