The "meanies"

We are up to $580.50 donated and we are shooting for $1000 by Friday. It will be difficult but difficult things are usually worth doing.
We have spoken to the South Saint Paul High School-School Store.  It is recommended that we have 500 Orange t-shirts on hand to sell in the store and that they would probably sell out. I am not shy about saying that so far I have only lost money setting this whole thing up. We are on week four so that's pretty normal. That is also the primary reason that we need 100 preorders of the Nikki Karg Orange-Out shirt.  We have tons of interest but only 3 that are actually prepaid.

We do have our first out of state sale with Nevada getting on the board.
Simley is in the local contest lead by 2. Current score is 7-5 Spartans. There are 2 "Other" sales for a total of 14. Minnesota is therefore beating the US 13-1.

One of the other goals meanwell is trying to accomplish is spreading a positive attitude. To do so we will be giving out 5 meanwell awards (the meanies) in January 2014 to 5 people nominated for their actions in 2013. Nominees will be active people in our community that exemplify the attitude that we here at meanwell are trying to spread. "Nobody's perfect but nine times out of ten you just need to meanwell." We do require that at least one nominee is under 18 years of age. If you have someone in mind please let us know. There are currently 0 nominees because I'm pretty sure about 5 people know about the awards.  Obviously everybody benefits when people strive to be better. The more people we have trying to improve the better off the community will be. It would also be sad for a deserving winner to go without a single nomination.
