Film Showing – Assaulted: Civil Rights Under Fire

Tickets are now on sale for the only scheduled Twin Cities showing of the documentary film “Assaulted: Civil Rights Under Fire.” The screening is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 3 at AMC Rosedale 14.

 

As the debate over gun control in the United States rages on, the issues are brought to the forefront in this documentary narrated by critically acclaimed rapper and actor Ice-T. The film explores the controversial subjects that divide people on both sides of the gun control debate, including existing laws, Constitutional concerns and rights to self defense.

The independent film showing was arranged and is being promoted by local group Twin Cities Gun Owners & Carry Forum (TCGOCF), which has also planned a pre-film dinner meet up for those who plan to attend.

Tickets are being sold through Tugg.com, a web-platform that facilitates independent film placement at local theaters by allowing groups or individuals to request showings and requiring that they promote ticket sales. A minimum of number of 72 tickets must be reserved by August 27 in order for the Sept. 3 showing date in Roseville to receive confirmation.

 

Tickets can be reserved with a credit card at this link: http://www.tugg.com/events/4871. According to Tugg’s website, credit cards are not charged until the minimum threshold for ticket sales has been reached. Tickets will not be available at the theater. Attendees must print out their tickets online or must be able to show their confirmation on a mobile device at the time of the showing.
