Get Out this Weekend, Inver Grove Heights

The weekend is coming up and Patch has some great ideas to help you plan for some fun.

  •  
    When/Where
    : 10am to 1pm on Saturday. The walk starts at Red Pine Elementary School in Eagan.
    Why Go:
    More than 30 local health and wellness vendors are attending the second annual Family Health and Fitness Fair at the Red Pine Elementary. Take part in the fair, and then travel from the Red Pine parking lot in Eagan, to Rosemount, through Inver Grove Heights and back to Red Pine as part of a two-mile walk.

  • INVER GROVE HEIGHTS LIONS PANCAKE BREAKFAST
    When/Where:
    8:30am to Noon on Sunday at Simley High School
    Why Go:
    Support the community and eat your fill of pancakes at this breakfast, hosted by the Lions Club in partnership with the Inver Grove Heights Police Department.
    Pricing: $5.50 in advance, $6.50 at the door. Children under 5 are free.

    When/Where
    : 5pm to 6:30pm on Sunday at Lifetime Fitness in Eagan.
    Why Go:
    A 90-minute event to benefit those affected by the earthquake and tsunami disasters in Japan. 100 percent of the funds go directly to the Red Cross/Japan Relief and are tax deductible.
    Pricing:
    $20 donation to Red Cross.

  • When/Where:
    7pm on Thursday, April 14; 7:30pm on Friday, April 15; 7:30pm on Saturday; April 16 and 3pm on Sunday, April 17.
    Why Go: Enjoy the comedy and drama of Rogers and Hammerstein's classic musical, performed by the Simley High School Theatre Guild.
    Pricing: $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, $3 for children under 12.

  • When/Where
    : 8pm and 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday at The Joke Joint in Lilydale.
    Why Go:
    Experience the wild imagination and sarcasm of Michael Malone, who was a finalist for the CW Star Search, and has performed on the National Lampoon's Operation Comedy Tour.
    Pricing:
    $15 at the door.
