Motorists in Inver Grove hit delays and a detour in Inver Grove Heights as Highway 3 (Robert Trail)/Highway 110 ramps closed today due to the Highway 3 improvement project.
The northbound Highway 3 ramp to eastbound Highway 110 is closed this afternoon as crews repave the ramp.
The good news is the ramp is scheduled to re-open by 7 p.m. this evening.
Beginning 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, the southbound Highway 3 ramp to eastbound Highway 110 ramp will close and re-open at 7 p.m. the same day.
Wednesday, Sept. 11, the loop and ramp from westbound Highway 110 to and from Highway 3 will close at 6 a.m. and re-open at 6 p.m. the same day.
The project is part of a larger project to improve drainage, repair the roadway and update pedestrian crossings to meet modern accessibility standards.
