Mystery Photo (July 20): Revealed!

How well do you know Inver Grove Heights? Can you identify where this photo was taken?

(Monday, July 23) So, if it's not clear now, last week's mystery photo is from the bridge at Simley Park. Perhaps a contractor or architect can weigh in here. What are those handle things on the bridge called?

(Sunday, July 22) How about now? Looking more familiar?

(Friday, July 20) How well do you know Inver Grove Heights? Can you identify where this photo was taken?

Submit your best guesses in the comments section below. We'll provide a few hints along the way if needed. The big reveal will come first thing Monday morning.

When you're guessing, be as specific as possible. In other words, "behind the gas station by the tracks" probably won't ring the winner's bell.

Oh, and since it's always nice to win something for your effort, the first one to guess correctly will get a free gourmet coffee—paid for by me!

Guess where. Guess what. Have fun!

So why didn't. Joni G win? And did Diane not read prior posts??
Jeff Roberts (Editor) July 24, 2012 at 03:26 AM
Oldman, you're right, Joni G. did win. Congratulations Joni! I didn't see your comment before I put together the Reveal! post on Monday. Joni, if you're interested, I'll buy you a coffee sometime this week. Email me at jeff.roberts@patch.com and we'll set up a time to meet at Caribou or Dunn Bros. or wherever you prefer :)

Jeff, I'm not sure what you mean by the "handles." The uprights, I believe are called stancions and the horizontals are called rails. I'm not an engineer but I think that is correct. Jack Evers Phoenix, AZ

Great, thanks Jack! Clearly I'm not an engineer either :)
