Inver Grove Heights native and U.S. Army Specialist Joseph Kennedy, 25, was killed on April 15 in the Ghazni province of Afghanistan after his unit came under small arms fire from insurgents.

These photos of Kennedy were released through the U.S. Army. Funeral arrangements for the fallen soldier are pending.
