VIEWFINDER: Inver Hills Students Experience Shock and Awe

Engaging mentalist Christopher Carter did what he does best Wednesday, he played with people’s minds.

Carter led an overflow crowd of Inver Hills Community College students through an entertainment experience that provided them with thrills and chills and left them wanting more.

Carter read thoughts, made predictions, did amazing stunts, put students into a hypnotized states, performed seeming wonders and did it all with style, humor and panache. Audience participation is a mandatory in Carter’s performance and the college students weren’t shy about enthusiastically participating.

Students got a chance to fire loaded staple guns into Carter’s palms, make electric lights glow and successfully guess answers that included a vacation spot, a parrot, a student’s girlfriend and ranch dressing.

Carter appeared was part of the college's annual Winter Fest events.
