LAST CHANCE: Start Your Pets on Flea & Tick Medication
Area vets are calling for pet owners to get flea and tick medication for their pets before Apr. 1.
Everyone with a pet knows that the short winter means an earlier flea, tick and mosquito season.
In fact, a recent WCCO article quoted a veterinarian from IGH's Snowshoe Goldens Kennel who encouraged pet owners to begin their pet medication no later than Apr. 1—a full month earlier than in 2011.
