PATCH POLL: Do You Plan to Shop at the Inver Grove Target?

The Target store just north of the Highway 55-South Robert Trail interchange is expected to open in July. Will you be among those shopping there?

Now that a Target is moving toward completion in Inver Grove Heights, you will go there to shop?

The city’s 135,000-square-foot Target store, just north of the Highway 55-South Robert Trail, is expected to open in July.

The Inver Grove Heights store—which will feature general merchandise, as well as a selection of groceries, produce, meat and prepackaged baked goods—will employ roughly 200 people.

Among those people hoping for a success launch are Inver Grove Heights city officials, who are expecting the store to spur economic development in the Argenta Hills area, the mixed-use development which the big-box store anchors.
