Three Minnesota cases of salmonella, part of a multistate outbreak, were traced to pet ducklings that were purchased at Tractor Supply Company in Inver Grove Heights.

Three Minnesota cases of salmonella, part of a multistate outbreak, have been traced to pet ducklings bought at Tractor Supply Company in Inver Grove Heights, according to a report on StarTribune.com earlier this week.

From the article: 

The ill Minnesotans were ages 18 to 60. All three cases were caused by Salmonella infantis, which has been previously associated with poultry. The cases occurred from late March through early April.
