Ben Dahlstrom, 26, Who Drove Off Road to Death, Loved Outdoors, Family, Friends

Ben Dahlstrom was remembered by family members for his "selflessness, caring and love."

Benjamin Dahlstrom, 26, the Inver Grove Heights man who died March 3 when he drove his car off the road in Mendota Heights, on Delaware Avenue near Huber Drive, was buried Friday after a service at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in St. Paul.

"Ben was an avid outdoorsman who loved to be at the cabin with family and friends," according to an obituary published at Legacy.com. "He exemplified a life of selflessness, caring and love as a son, brother, uncle and friend."

He is survived by parents, Kirk and Liz; sister, Maggie (Clark) Fossand; brothers, Andy (Nikki), Peter (Jill) and Mike; along with 10 nieces and nephews, according to the obituary.
