Forecasters: 80 Percent Chance of Snow on Saturday

The National Weather Service predicts less than one inch of new snow accumulation is possible.

That's what mother nature has in store for Inver Grove Heights this weekend, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters are calling for an 80 percent chance of snow late on Saturday, with accumulations of less than one inch predicted.

The snow could continue into Saturday night. The high temperature on Saturday is expected to be 36 degrees. A chance of light rain early on Saturday is also possible, according to the weather service.

Areas north of the Twin Cities could see more snow; four to six inches is predicted to come from a band of snow from Morris east to Little Falls and St. Cloud. Temperatures are expected to warm up slightly later next week.
