- Inver Grove Heights Days
When/Where? Sept. 8-11 at various times and locations throughout Inver Grove Heights. See the full schedule events by clicking here.
Why Go? There’s plenty to see and do at Inver Grove Heights’s annual festival, including a bunch of activities at and at other locations throughout the city. Enjoy the classic car show, food court, pet contest, parade and fireworks, among all the other fun planned during this four-day city celebration.

- Lebanese Fall Festival
When/Where? 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9 and 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11 at Holy Family Maronite Church, 1960 Lexington Avenue South in Mendota Heights
Why Go? Learn about Lebanese culture while enjoying a weekend filled with everything from baklava to bingo to belly dancers. The festival kicks off with Lebanese food on Friday evening starting at 5 p.m., followed by Bingo from 6 to 9 p.m. at the church's social hall. The festival continues on Sunday starting at 11 a.m. with games, food and entertainment on the church grounds.
Price: Free; tickets sold for games and food.
- A Cat and the Fiddle Antique Fair
When/Where? 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11 at the historic house located at 3005 Lower 147th St. W. in downtown Rosemount.
Why Go? Experience one of the largest occasional sales in Minnesota—a concept that is the hottest craze in shopping experiences—at A Cat and the Fiddle A Fair. Their unique shops are usually open just four days each month, featuring all new inventory and designs at each sale. At A Cat and the Fiddle A Fair, you’ll find an extensive mix of antiques, retro, vintage, primitive or cottage-style furnishings and décor, displayed across 3,000 square feet throughout a beautiful historic house in Rosemount. There will also be a wine tasting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8.

- Summer Concert Series: Mixed Precipitation
When/Where? 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, at the Dodge Nature Center garden space at 1701 Charlton Street in West St. Paul
Why Go? Enjoy listening to and watching live music at Dodge as part of the summer concert series, open to all ages. Gather the family and bring a picnic, or purchase ice cream cones, root beer floats, or popcorn, among other refreshments at the event. Mixed Precipitation, a self-proclaimed “Garden Operetta” group that performs throughout the Twin Cities, will provide the entertainment. - Minnesota Rock History and Fossil Collecting
When/Where? 1 p.m. on Saturday Sept. 10 at Dodge Nature Center, 365 Marie Ave. W., West St. Paul
Why Go? You’ll find sandstone, shale, limestone, underground springs and caves everywhere while you go for an adventurous hike through St. Paul Lilydale Brickyards. Collect and identify fossils as you search through clay pits and have fun climbing up steep rocky ravines. This program is for participants six years of age and older. Pre-registration is required; you can register online by clicking here.
Price: For the general public: $7 for each adult or child; $20 for families. For members: $5 for each adult and child; $15 for families. Free for children ages 2 and under.
