Simley Swim Team Competes in Section Finals Today in Inver Grove Heights

The following is a Simley High School announcement.

Boys Swimming & Diving Section Finals are today at the Grove in IGH.  The meet starts at 1:00 p.m.  Please come and cheer on the team to another successful tournament! Go Spartans!   The Wrestling team will be competing in the Individual Section Tournament at Minnehaha Academy at 11 a.m. today

The Simley wrestling team will be competing in the MSHSL state team tournament on Thursday, February 28th at 9 A.M. at the Xcel Center. The District will be sending a fan bus to this event. Students who fill out a permission slip and purchase a ticket will be excused at 8 A.M. on Thursday. The students that choose to return to school on the bus will be back at Simley by 11:45 A.M. Many students will choose to stay for the second round of the team tournament on Thursday and will not return to school. The second round team match will start at 1 P.M. Permission slips for students are available in the activities office. Tickets will be sold in the Activities office. Students are not allowed to buy a ticket unless they have a signed permission slip. The cost of a tournament student ticket is $9. The cost to ride the bus is $3.
