Let's Get Growing Spring Expo

LET’S GET GROWING
MASTER GARDENER SPRING EXPO MARCH 8TH



  Warm
up and think spring at the 15th annual Let’s Get Growing Spring Expo
hosted by the University of Minnesota Master Gardeners of Dakota County on
Saturday, March 8th, 2014 from 8a.m. to 2:30p.m. at the Rosemount
Community Center, 13885 South Robert Trail (Highway 3), Rosemount.



 Our Keynote Speaker, Emily Tape, author
of The Edible Landscape, will inspire you to look at fruits and vegetables in a
whole new light. You will discover how fun and easy it is to incorporate edible
plants alongside your ornamental plants. Emily writes University of Minnesota
Extension materials and supports ongoing fruit research as she continues to
discover the joy of gardening.

addition, eight classes will be presented, some of the topics include: The
Nature-Health Connection, Square Foot Gardening, Landscaping for Curb Appeal.

between classes, browse the Garden Market Place where vendors will display
their art and garden-related products. A $35 expo admission fee includes:
Keynote presentation, your selection of 2 classes and handouts, morning
refreshments, lunch and a chance to win door prizes. Purchases at the Market
Place and for Silent Auction items will require cash or checks.
