Royal Family Bonding Time
Today was our holiday party and team-building event, Make-up 101, at Captive Images Salon. It was great to see all the girls again – and quite relaxing! Megan Lohse, former Miss Inver Grove Heights 2010 and a Mary Kay consultant, walked through some simple makeup tips using her products. I think the girls having the most fun were Ashley (Little Miss) and Sydney (Little Princess), who happily practiced their “makeup stances”. We had decided to do Secret Santa as a gift exchange -- today we exchanged our gifts. I was pretty excited to give Sydney her gift that I made myself -- a blanket that I think turned out really cute. After our gift exchange, we had some treats and had a great time just relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. We chatted, played some games, and spent about half an hour trying to master the cups routine from Glee’s Time to begin by Darren Criss (which is a lot harder than it looks by the way). It was great to have some Royal Family fun time!
