IGH Royalty Volunteer to Raise Awareness of Food Allergies

Recently, the Inver Grove Heights Royalty volunteered at the Food Allergy Walk to raise awareness about food allergies and the effects of their reactions.

From Sophia Dahlke, Little Miss Inver Grove Heights 2012:

The Food Allergy Walk was held March 24th at the Mall of America. The walk was an eye opening, fun event for the six of us girls. This walk's goal was to raise awareness about food allergies and the effects of their reactions.

When we arrived we took pictures with visiting royalty from Cambridge and Teen and Miss Minnesota. There was music and entertainment to get everyone excited for the walk. After the National Anthem we ran to our cheering location. We were enthusiastic with cheers and clapping for the participants down to the last walker. We finished the event crossing the finish line as a royal group.

My favorite parts were interacting with visiting royalty and little kids who were walking. Singing the Star-Spangled Banner as a group was awesome.
