Last night the girls and I attended the Twins vs. Dodgers game for Inver Grove Heights/ South St. Paul Community Night. Being a pretty avid Twins fan, I’d been looking forward to this for the longest time! Also in tow were our new friends from the 2011-2012 Kaposia Days Royalty, who represent the city of South St. Paul.

So here comes a plot twist, I’m enjoying the game with commentary from Whitney, Lauren and Riley and suddenly I hear that we’re going to be singing "Take me out to the Ball Game" during the seventh inning stretch on the jumbo-tron for all of Target Field. Just a little nerve-wracking for someone who is certainly not known for any sort of singing ability.

Despite my nerves, the eight of us, the IGH Royalty and SSP Princesses, had a blast signing singing our hearts out in front of the camera and managed to not shatter any glass due to our lack of singing abilities. Our little chorus was joined by the IGH Mayor George Tourville and of course, TC Bear. When leaving the stadium last night it was definitely fun to have random people pat us on the back for a job well done. And the Twins won 6-4. GO TWINS!!!
