Last Thursday, the Inver Grove Heights Royalty joined the Inver Glen Library in the launch of "", the summer reading program. All summer long, metro libraries have hundreds of fun, free programs going on in connection with the libraries summer reading program.
During the kick off event, we read to the many kids that were there and all had a lot of fun; and often found ourselves listening to each other's stories. We also had fun with the petting zoo that was part of the reading program kick-off activities.

The rabbits, ducks, chickens, goats, sheep, llama and dog seemed to enjoy the festivities as much as we did.
