It’s that time of year when the weather gets cold and the coolest celebration on earth begins. I am talking about the Saint Paul Winter Carnival. On Saturday, January 19th, Kassi Giles (2013 Inver Grove Heights Queen) and I attended the Queen of the Snows Fashion Show to support the sixteen amazing ladies vying for the title of Queen of the Snows. Our own Kati Giles, 2010 Miss Inver Grove Heights, was among those sixteen ladies. After mingling with the current and visiting royalty, and raiding the dessert table, the show started with the introduction of the candidates. The current royal ladies then shared their favorite memory from the year while modeling their causal outfits, followed by the candidates’ turn to work the runway. All of the girls modeled two casual outfits with each outfit cuter than the last. The show ended with the girls in a formal dress. The dresses where stunning and each perfect for the lady wearing it. This was a fun event and enjoyable to watch. I wish all the ladies good luck!
