On January 12, 2013 the Inver Grove Heights Royal Court attended the Winter Carnival Junior Coronation. We watched in anticipation as the candidates expressed “who they are” and what their life experiences “have taught them” by means of a snowflake, and listened intently to the goodbyes of the current Court. Three of our own – Kristi Schultz (Jr. Miss Inver Grove Heights 2012), Stephanie Fox (2012 Inver Grove Heights candidate) and Tessa Quam (2011 Inver Grove Heights candidate) -- were candidates for the Junior Royalty. It brought smiles to our faces to see that Tessa won the title of Princess of Snow for 2013. We know she’ll do a great job in representing the St. Paul Winter Carnival, the nation’s oldest and largest winter festival!
