The River Heights Chamber of Commerce invites the public to the 29th Annual River Heights Twins Night at Target Field, sponsored by Waterous Company.
The Minnesota Twins will take on the Chicago White Sox at Target Field at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2012. This event is much more than just a ball game!
Reserved tickets in the upper deck (Home Plate View) are only $25 and bus transportation from Inver Grove Heights and South St. Paul ($6/person) are available for sale until May 31, 2012 at the , Pro Pharmacy and Verizon Wireless of IGH (9086 Buchanan Trail, IGH). Interested in Sponsoring a Fan? Local residents and businesses in South St. Paul and Inver Grove Heights are encouraged to give donations to help sponsor tickets for a family or senior group from Neighbors, Inc., Guild or local group home resident to attend the game.

A donation of $31 allows one person to use the bus transportation and attend the game. A $124 donation will send a family of four to the game. Past recipients of these sponsored tickets have been very appreciative of the opportunity to see Target Field and the Twins, sometimes for the first time. Many have reported that they’ve listened to the Twins on the radio and watched the games on TV their whole life, but never had the chance to attend a real game.
"In 2011, Neighbors has helped over 40,000 people in northern Dakota country through our food shelf, clothes closet, and other social service programs. Many families who seek assistance do not have the luxury of experiencing things such as a professional baseball game," said Daniel Zhu, Communications & Events Manager, Neighbors, Inc. "Activities such as this help bring families together for a special moment, especially for the kids."
The River Heights Chamber of Commerce thanks our many chamber member businesses for sponsoring this event (Heartland Credit Union as the Choir Sponsor) and providing tickets for Neighbors, Inc. and other group home clientele in the past and again this year.
