Hangar Dance Attracts Record Crowd!

On June 8, 2013 the CAF (Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing) held their bi-annual Hangar Dance. What a rockin’ night it was with far more people than have ever attended the dance before.

People were filtering in as soon as the dance opened and within an hour people were streaming in. It was a fun night full of vintage music, costume, dancing and plenty of food and drink. There were tours of aircraft and visitors were able to watch Miss Mitchell take off and come back in at the start of the dance. The sound of her engines filled the Hangar and had everyone’s attention!

There were free swing dancing lessons by TC Swing, music by the Roseville Big Band, and a Best-Dressed Civilian and Best-Dressed Military Contest. Winners received gift certificates from Blacklist Vintage and Via’s Vintage.
