HD39B Republicans Host Monthly Meeting at Drkula's

Please join us at Drkula's on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. for the HD39B Republicans monthly meeting. Our featured guest this month is Inver Grove Heights Councilman Bill Klein. He will be providing us with an update on the state of the city council and will be addressing your questions. The meeting should last about an hour, so feel free to stay and socialize after the business of the meeting has been conducted.

Find out if Representative Joe Atkins claims on his website are accurate (Hint: NO!)

Did Representative Atkins really say that he had secret solutions to cutting the state budget and ending the state shutdown? He sure did in his email to constituents! But when he was asked by several members of the community what these plans were and why he has not offered them publicly, Joe Atkins stated that they weren't really "his" ideas but instead, "It's really just a bunch of ideas  I had run by a lot of Republican legislators to try to plug the gap between Dayton and
the GOP leadership." None of the four suggestions he offered where his proposals, and most were not even from his party!
