President to Drive through IGH, John Kline Hosts Job Fair, and More

I wanted to send out an update at the end of the week since there has been so much going on this week.

SENATE DISTRICT 39
HD39A, our counterparts to the north, held a successful spaghetti feed last evening in South Saint Paul. They are already working on creating a Chili feed this fall. When we receive more information, we will let you know

PRESIDENTIAL VISIT
President Obama will be in Cannon Falls this coming Monday (Aug. 15th) at 11:45. Free tickets are available for the event, but must be picked up in person at the Cannon Falls City Hall on Sunday, August 14th at 1:00pm. Each person can receive two free tickets, but space is very limited. We are expecting the lines to be long, but it would be worth it to get as many folks from HD39B there as possible. I am working with several other BPOUs to set up caravans on Sunday morning to travel to Cannon Falls. If you are interested in joining us, please let me know (chair@hd39b.com)

CONGRESSMAN JOHN KLINE TO HOST JOBS FAIR
U.S. Congressman John Kline will be hosting a Career and Jobs Fair on Monday, September 19th from 9:00am until 1:00pm at the Eagan Community Center, located at 1501 Central Parkway in Eagan.Businesses are invited to participate in and attend this fair at no cost. Businesses will be provided space to display information and talk with prospective employees. Reservations for tables must be received by Monday, August 15. To reserve a table, please contact Sally Bryant at 952.808.1213 or Sally.Bryant@mail.house.gov.  Space is limited and will be first-come, first serve.

HD39B MONTHLY MEETING
House District 39B will be hosting their next monthly meeting on Thursday, September 15th at 6:30 at Drkula's in Inver Grove Heights. A resolution to limit the scope of local government will be discussed, in addition to a discussion on the upcoming school board election.
