Game Day at the Library and Granny Sunshine

Last week the Inver Grove Heights Royalty had so much fun with the children that came to Inver Glen Library. On Tuesday, July 22nd,  we helped with running the games that the Parks and Rec program had set up. The kids played Blow the Ping Pong Ball Down the Gutter, relay games, and Drop the Eraser in the Bucket. Some of the little kids were so much fun to watch -- they weren’t exactly sure what to do so we helped them figure it out. On Thursday, July 24th, Granny Sunshine and Julie the face painter came to the library. Granny Sunshine read and told stories to the kids. While she was telling stories she gave props to the kids so they could join in on the fun – us too!!  Before they left, the children stood in line to get their faces painted.  They sure looked cute!!  On both of these occasions, my royal sisters and I had an opportunity to chat with the children that came and read to them if they wished.  It wasn’t surprising that the little girls we read to wanted to read a book about a princess.  Thank you Inver Glen Library and all the special guests at the library this week.  We had a lot of fun and laughs!
