On Thursday, January 9thm I accompanied my Princess Kacie Bartholomew to the Winter Carnival Candidate Dinner held at Southview Country Club. It was so fun to be able to meet the very accomplished and intelligent women that may be filling the roles of the Princesses of the Winds, as well as the Queen of the Snows. I was amazed at the amount of past Winter Carnival Royalty that attended as well. I loved socializing with them before and after the dinner, which was very nice. Watching the fish bowl questions is always nerve-racking, but the candidates did a wonderful job not to mention, the food was delicious too!! In addition to getting to know the candidates a little better, we visited with Rice Street Royalty. It was nice to catch up with them. It was an honor to be able to attend this event, and so much fun to watch the Carnival in action! I am very excited for future carnival events!!
