Blotter: Burglar Steals $2,000 Antique Cash Register From Home

Arson and robbery calls also included in the Inver Grove Heights police reports for April 30 through May 6

April 5 (Past Action Report)

5pm — Police responded to reports of a burglary on the 9000 block of Robert Trail S. A 56-year-old victim told officers that an antique cash register worth $2,000, a snow plow, a generator and washing machine had all been stolen from a home he owned, which had been unoccupied since 2009. Police took photos of the scene, but had no suspects at the time of the report.

April 30

4am — Police responded to reports of a robbery on the 5300 block of Audobon Avenue.

6pm — Police responded to reports of an attempted burglary on the 7900 block of Blaine Avenue

10:30pm – Police responded to reports of a burglary on the 4900 block of Boyd Avenue. A homeowner told officers that an unknown person broke into his garage, rummaged through his cars and took a GPS unit and several rock and country music CDs.

11:30pm — Police responded to reports of a runaway on the 2700 block of 47th Street.

May 1

8:30pm — Police responded to reports of an arson on the 1400 block of Upper 55th Street.

May 3

1pm — Police responded to reports of a burglary on the 1900 block of 52nd Street.
