Blotter: Bystander Reports Drunken Man Lying in Busy Roadway

June 3
12:45am—Police responded to a terroristic threats call on the 2900 block of 80th Street.

11:13 p.m.—Police responded to a domestic assault/disorderly conduct call on the 5400 block of Blackberry Trail. A man in the parking lot of the apartment complex flagged down the officer and told police he was assaulted by a group of people and struck several times in the head with a bottle. The officer couldn't see any observable injuries on the man, but went to the apartment in question to speak with the occupants. A resident told the officer the man had struck another person in the apartment, and was then restrained and removed from the apartment. No one involved wanted to press charges.

3:56 a.m.—Police conducted a warrant arrest on the 5500 block of Bishop Avenue.
8:29 p.m.—Police responded to reports of an intoxicated person lying in the middle of Concord Boulevard. The concerned caller was worried the person would be struck by a car. Upon arrival, an officer found a 46-year-old man "swaying" on the side of the road with a shattered bottle of alcohol near him. The man had an active warrant against him out of Washington County, and was transported to Dakota County Jail.
June 5
4:33 p.m.—Police responded to reports of a runaway on the 6300 block of Carleda Way E.
June 7
6:48 p.m.—Police responded to reports of a burglary on the 1700 block of Atwater Path E. The former owner of a foreclosed home told police that she was cleaning and removing items from the home when she noticed that a patio door to the home had been forced open, but that the intruder or intruders didn't take anything of value. Police searched the home and called a bank representative to inform them of the situation.
June 9
9:27 p.m.—Police responded to a burglary call on the 5500 block of Bishop Avenue E.
June 10
12 a.m.—Police responded to reports of a burglary on the 9100 block of Azalea Way.
