July 3

July 9

3:44 a.m.—Police responded to a criminal vehicular operation incident along Upper 55th Street in Inver Grove Heights.

5:01 p.m.—Police responded to a weapons/road and driving incident along Courthouse Boulevard in Inver Grove Heights.

10 p.m.—Police responded to a report of a burglary on the 11300 block of Apennine Way.

July 10

12:25 a.m.—Police responded to reports of an assault on the 3100 block of 65th St. E.

3:30 a.m.—Police responded to a report of a domestic assault on the 1800 block of 52nd St.

4:09 p.m.—Police responded to a fifth-degree assault incident on the 1800 block of 52nd St. A 26-year-old woman was charged with disorderly conduct, damage to property and assault after police say she punched and scratched another 23-year-old victim, then threw a rock through the back windshield of the victim's car. Multiple witnesses saw the assault. Police say the fight began because the attacker thought the victim was sleeping with the attacker's boyfriend.

July 12

10:09 a.m.—Police responded to a disorderly conduct incident on the 7500 block of Cloman Way. A 60-year-old tenant in an apartment building was cited for disorderly conduct after police say he yelled at and threatened the building owner, who was trying to get the tenant to resign his lease. The yelling disturbed one of the man's neighbors in the building.

9:40 p.m.—Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct on the 2500 block fo 80th St. E.

10:38 p.m.—Police responded to a terroristic threats incident on the 7200 block of Dawn Ave. A 59-year-old woman reported that her son had threatened to shoot the woman and her family after an argument over financial issues. No charges were filed.

July 13

9:09 p.m.—Police responded to reports of an apartment fire on the 5300 block of Audobon Ave. Officers initially went to the wrong apartment, but eventually found the correct unit. Several men inside the apartment were able to contain the fire before officers arrived. Police evacuated the building as a precaution, confirmed the fire was out, then ventilated smoke from the building. The apartment tenant told police the fire started when she spilled burning cooking oil "everywhere."
