Blotter: Man Charged With Disorderly Conduct After Disrupting Youth Baseball Game

May 14

1am — Police responded to an assault call on the 6400 block of Concord Blvd.

7:05pm — Police responded to a domestic assault call on the 5200 block of Greystone Dr.

7:37pm — Police responded to a fire call on the 5400 block of Blackberry Trl.

7:03pm — Police were involved in a stolen vehicle/vehicle pursuit incident on the 8100 block of S. Robert Trl.

May 18

5:47pm — Police responded to an illegal dumping call on the 8500 block of S. Robert Trl.

6:36pm — Police responded to North Valley Park on a report of reckless driving and disorderly conduct. Witnesses told police that a man drove through a crowded parking lot during a youth baseball game. When bystanders told him to slow down, he allegedly swore at them before accidentally backing into a tree branch, damaging the rear end of his vehicle. Witnesses provided photos of the vehicle and tire tracks left by the vehicle. Police tracked the license plate number to a residence in Eagan. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle with damage its rear end. Officers cited the Eagan man for disorderly conduct and careless driving. The man ripped up the citation and began swearing at officers, who left the residence.

May 20

12:54am — Police responded to reports of a car fire on Hwy. 52. When they arrived, the car, hoisted on the back of a trailer, was completely engulfed. The driver of the trailer told police he was rounding a corner when he saw smoke pouring from the car in his rear view mirror. The driver pulled over and detached the trailer from his vehicle. The Inver Grove Heights Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.

8:30am — Police responded to a disorderly conduct call on the 2900 block of 80th St. E.
