Blotter: Upset After Receiving Cold Fast Food, Woman Threatens Family
Thief steals car parts from a local dealership and burglar breaks window to enter home, according to the police reports from Jan. 29 to Feb. 4

Jan. 29
10pm — A caller on the 3000 block of 74th St. E. reported that two GPS units, CDs and a radar detector were stolen from two vehicles in an unlocked, unattached garage.

Jan. 31
3:32pm — Police responded to a welfare call on the 7000 block of Blackwell Avenue and arrest 20-year-old Cecily Angela Vitek. Police said Vitek, upset that the fast food delivered to her by a family member was cold, threatened several others with a knife and struck another person with her hand. Vitek faces one charge of felony terroristic threats and two fifth-degree assault charges.

Feb. 1
2:49pm — A service director at an Inver Grove Heights car dealership reported that a thief stole a $2,300 catalytic converter from a car parked overnight in the dealership lot. At the time of the report, there were no suspects.
Feb. 4
5:13pm — Police responded to a burglary call on the 4000 block of Bongard Way. Police investigators determine the burglar broke a window near the door and reached through to unlock the door. The victim reported a flatscreen TV and a DVD player stolen. The burglar also rummaged through a jewelry box and dresser drawers.
