According to a Dakota County criminal complaint, a domestic violence advocate at Lewis House in Eagan was on the phone with the victim Oct. 17 when the advocate heard a man in the background threaten to kill the woman.
The advocate notified police and, upon their arrival, interviewed Fournelle who initially denied making the comment. Fournelle eventually admitted he "threatens to kill (the victim) all the time, but that he doesn’t really mean it,” according to the complaint.
