WCCO-TV ranked 78 Twin Cities-area police departments on the number of speeding tickets per capita issued in 2011. Inver Grove Heights tied Maple Grove for 58th on the list.

According to WCCO's numbers, the Inver Grove Heights Police Department issued 527 speeding tickets in 2011 — a per capita breakdown of 0.015.

In case you were wondering, the Dakota County Sheriff's Office placed even lower on the list at 73rd of the 78 departments.
