The woman said that she'd gotten into an argument with Ware at 10 a.m. that morning. The fight quickly turned violent and Ware allegedly hit her, choked her and kicked her in the back several times. The woman reported that Ware also threw several household items at her, including a chair.

Ware eventually left the house and the victim laid down to take a nap. She told police that she hoped "things would be fine" after he'd had time to cool off.

However, the conflict started all over again when he returned at 6 p.m. Ware searched through her cell phone, accusing her of being unfaithful. He soon became enraged and spit at her, grabbed her face, and pushed it into the cupboards. Then he choked her neck until she couldn't breathe, and tried to drown her in the kitchen sink, which she said was full of water at the time.

Ware allegedly threatened to kill both her and her mother.

The victim told police that said she was able to ecape after convincing him that she had to go and make copies. She fled to her mother's house. Ware apparently showed up at the home, but the women were able to force him out.

Ware has four previous convictions for domestic abuse, starting in 2004 and ending in 2009. He is currently in custody at the Dakota County Jail, held on a $50,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 12.
