Inver Grove Man Charged With Repeated Sexual Abuse of Minor

If convicted of one of the charges, Victor Manuel Flores, 38, faces up to 30 years in prison and a $40,000 fine.

A 38-year-old Inver Grove Heights man has been charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct after police say he had been sexually abusing the 14-year-old daughter of his girlfriend for three years.  

The alleged victim told Inver Grove Heights police on July 8 that Victor Manuel Flores had been touching her inappropriately since she was in 6th grade, according to a Dakota County criminal complaint. 

Patch does not disclose the names of victims or alleged victims of sexual abuse.

The complaint states that the girl told her mother about the abuse in 2010 but that her mother ignored the accusation. The report to the girl's mother was confirmed by a family member who was present when officers questioned the girl.

The girl further stated that the abuse has continued consistently throughout the years and occurred as recently as several months ago.
