Medical Examiner Identifies Body Found Last Week in Inver Grove Heights
The Dakota County Medical Examiner identified the body found on July 5 as that of 51-year-old Larry Hill, of Minneapolis.
Dakota County officials have identified the badly decomposed body discovered last week by a worker mowing grass near the Mississippi River in Inver Grove Heights.
The Dakota County Medical Examiner's office has identified the body as that of 51-year-old Minneapolis resident Larry Hill. Hill, described as a vulnerable adult with several medical issues, was reported missing last November by family members.
While investigators do not believe foul play was involved, the investigation into Hill’s actions prior to his death continues, according to a press release issued by the Dakota County Sheriff's office.

Hill's body was found last Tuesday along River Road in Inver Grove Heights, Dakota County Sheriff Dave Bellows said. The body, found lying underneath an old dock and other debris, may have been deposited there by spring flood waters, investigators believe.
The Dakota County Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy, but has ruled the cause of death undetermined at this time, Bellows said last week.
