Warrant Issued for IGH Man accused of Assaulting, Threatening Woman
Willie Samuel Shaw, 32, is charged with a felony and a gross misdemeanor as result of the May 1 incident.
A nationwide warrant has been issued for an Inver Grove Heights man accused of assaulting the mother of his children at their home on May 1.
Willie Samuel Shaw, 32, is charged with making terroristic threats, a felony punishable with up to five years in jail and a $3,000 fine; and gross misdemeanor domestic assault, punishable of up to a year in jail and a $900 fine.
According to the Dakota County District Court complaint:

Shaw allegedly verbally assaulted, kicked the shin and threw a remote control at the victim after her mother came to the home to retrieve a dog. Shaw and the victim’s mother reportedly exchanged words, and Shaw “flipped out” when the victim’s mother left.
During the incident, Shaw allegedly threatened to “snap her neck” of the victim and assault and kill her family if police intervened. He also attempted to overturn a couch.

The victim ran from the residence after Shaw threatened to snap her neck.
Inver Grove Heights Police investigated the incident.
Shaw has a prior conviction for domestic assault, in July 2011, according to the criminal complaint.
