Police Blotter: Teenagers Argue, Man Taken to Detox

After an argument on Dec. 31, an 18-year-old man was taken to detox and cited for underage drinking and more police calls.

An 18-year-old Inver Grove Heights man was taken by  from his home in the 5300 block of Audobon Avenue to detox on Dec. 31 around 5 a.m.
Police were called to the home by his 19-year-old girlfriend after she reported they had an argument which escalated to a physical fight. Though she had no visible injuries she reported assault and that the man “had too much alcohol.”
The man took a preliminary breath test which registered a 0.165. He was cited for underage drinking and brought to detox.

6:04 p.m. – Police responded to a report of domestic issue in the 1400 block of Upper 55th Street.
7:17 p.m. – A person was arrested for a DWI on 70th Street.
