Shane Robert Danner faces a felony drug charge after police say they seized a steroid considered to be the most powerful available.

An Inver Grove Heights man has been charged with drug possession after police say they searched his home in April and found steroids.

After knocking and announcing themselves several times with no response, agents used a ram to knock down the door. They encountered Danner inside, coming down a staircase.

During their search, officers found three bottles of liquid and three used syringes in a safe in Danner’s bedroom, the complaint said.

The substance was analyzed by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and was found to be a combination of trenbolone acetate, considered the most powerful anabolic steroid available, and testosterone propionate, a fast-acting steroid.

Police also found .16 grams of cocaine, a razor blade containing suspected cocaine residue and “multiple” new syringes, according to the complaint. Danner allegedly told officers that he co-owned the home with his brother, who also lives in the residence.
