Report: Car Hits Wall on I-494 in IGH
Emergency responders included a crew from Inver Grove Heights, according to scanner.
A car hit a wall on eastbound I-494 east of Highway 52 shortly before 8 a.m. Saturday, according to reports on emergency dispatch radio, calling it an injury crash.
Traffic cameras showed eastbound traffic reduced to one lane as rescue vehicles arrived at the scene under an overpass.
Crews responding, which by 8:20 a.m. included Inver Grove Rescue 10, could be heard over emergency scanners calling for Jersey barriers. Police, ambulance and fire vehicles were still at the scene as of 8:30 a.m.
