Two minors were transported to Regions Hospital with injuries after a two-car collision late on Tuesday afternoon.

The accident, which took place just before 4 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, occurred at the intersection of Cliff Road and Alison Way in southwestern Inver Grove Heights.

Inver Grove Heights Police Department Sergeant Jeff Lundblad declined to release the identities of the minors, but said both were responsive and alert after the accident. The accident occurred, Lundblad said, when a Pontiac Sunfire occupied by both minors turned out from Alison Way onto Cliff Road and was struck by Toyota Camry traveling westbound on Cliff Road.
