Fall Sports Registration Meeting This Thursday
The school district's fall sports registration meeting for players, parents and coaches will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 11 at Simley.
The school district's fall sports registration meeting for players, parents and coaches will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 11 in the Simley High School cafeteria. District Athletic Director Will Short will be presenting eligibility information from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Teams will be meeting separately after the presentation. Bring your completed Minnesota State High School League form (MSHSL), ISD 199 co-curricular form and fee. If you have a new physical, please turn in that evening. Practices for Simley sports begin on Monday, August 15.
The state of Minnesota has mandated that all athletes receive information regarding concussions.The MSHSL form was updated over the summer and now includes concussion management information. If you have already filled out the forms that were distributed before Aug. 1, there is an addendum form that needs to be signed by parents and athletes and is attached. If you have not filled out any forms, the updated forms are in the registration packet that is attached.

Athletes will not be allowed to practice on Monday, Aug. 15 if they do not have all of their paperwork completed and a physical on file.
