Simley High School's boys and girls cross country teams ran at the highly competitive Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday. The nation's largest annual meet included teams from all across the upper midwest. 

The boys team struggled in the maroon division, finishing in 48th place. Max Wellens finished in sixth place overall with a time of 16:52.

For the girls, Margie Freed took seventh place with a time of 19:47.
