To kick off the start of the school year on Tuesday morning, Gov. Mark Dayton delivered a short speech and read to students at Hilltop Elementary School in Inver Grove Heights.
Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton delivered a short speech on friendship in front of hundreds of students on Tuesday morning.
To kick off the start of the school year, Dayton spent a little more than an hour at the school. In addition to his speech, he recited the Pledge of Allegiance at a school assembly, read a book to a classroom full of students and answered questions about his job as governor.
