VIDEO: Hilltop Elementary School Comes Face to Face With Robot
The Simley High School Robotics Club introduced students across the district to its mechanical creation on Monday.
Hundreds of students expressed surprise, curiosity and a little bit of wonder on Monday afternoon, when they came face to face with the creation: a five-foot-tall robot.
The club visited all three elementary schools and the Inver Grove Heights Middle School on Monday as part of a district-wide tour to introduce students to robotics. Their last stop of the day was at Hilltop Elementary School, where they gave a 30-minute presentation in the school gym.
