VIDEO: Inver Grove Heights Students Teach Adults About Technology

Students from across the district found themselves at the head of the classroom on Saturday, at the district's first Student-Led Technology Conference.

iPads, PowerPoint, blogging, creating a website.

Those were just a few of the topics at School District 199's first Student-Led Technology Conference — an event that gave students a chance to teach their parents and other community members about the latest in digital technology.

Students led attendees of the conference through three hours of classroom sessions at the Inver Grove Heights Middle School on Saturday morning. The session topics included "Video Conferencing 101", "Xcel For Personal and Professional Use" and "Producing Movies and Digital Scrapbooks."
